We celebrated Jaxon's birthday this year with a friend party, and then a family party on his actual birthday.
This year was his first "friend party" because it's the first year he has friends of his own. It was Little Einstein themed, and we had it while the big kids were still at school so that it was mostly just his little friends. They had cupcakes, played outside, and had a pinata!
The night before Jaxon's actual birthday, Chase, Austin, Ellie and I blew up tons of balloons after Jax went to bed. We covered his bedroom floor with them so that when Jax woke up he would wake up to all the ballons. It was so cute when he woke up because he came running in my room and said "Momma, there are wots of bawoons in my room!"
His family party was on the night of his birthday. We got everyone pizza, and I made a Little Einstein cake. Both sides of our families came, and Austin and Ellie got to meet baby Sophie for the first time.
When I think of the last three years with Jax I can't help but smile. Things are getting so much easier as a Mom of three as Jax is old enough to go and play more independently. He can be a handful. He can be defiant. But mostly, he is just such a sweet kid and so much fun. Jax at three is smart, adventurous, silly and so so snugly. We love him so much and are so lucky to have him in our family!
Love that cute boy!!!! So glad we were able to be part of the festivities! :o)
