Crazy Busy Weekend

Since Chase and Ellie's Birthday's sandwich Halloween we were in for a very busy weekend....Here's how we spent it...
Friday was Chases 29th Birthday. We went to Plaza Jalisco for dinner and then Austin had his very first cub scout pack meeting. While we were at the Pack meeting I learned enough about Cub scouts to understand a little more while Chase and Austin talk about "electives" and Tiger paws and so on.... But I also learned that I am very glad that Cub scouts is a Daddy and Austin thing and not a Mommy and Austin thing. Chase had to stand up and sing "If You're a Tiger and You Know It"... He didn't seem to mind though......

Austin got a Tiger Paw award and some beads... And He and Chase are now working on some other Electives which have meant new batteries in smoke Detectors and Daddy and Austin practicing Phone etiquette... Which if anyone has called my house and got Austin on the other end knows, he needs some phone etiquette so I am all for that!

Saturday Morning we worked on getting our house ready for Ellie's "friend" Birthday Party. Austin, Ellie and I all jammed to Monster Mash in the Morning and the kids helped clean up with minimal whining. The party was at 1, and although 4 of her 12 guests were sick we still had a spooktacular good time. A quick dinner was argued over and then it was time for Trick or Treat!!!!
Ellie was Little Bo Peep, Jaxon was her lost little sheep and Austin was Rey Mysetrio,Who is a Wrestler on TV.... Austin's costume of fake muscles definitely put a little strut in his step....

Jaxon didn't last too long, it was too cold for my baby, so Ellie Bo Peep actually did loose her sheep right off the bat.... Ellie's Trick or Treating went like this....
1)Use pink cane to pound on doors....
2)Inform the person who answers that you are Little Bo Peep.
3)Make sure they know that your mom has your bucket.
4)After Mom reminds you to say Thank You you say it, but the door has already closed.

Bo Peep got tired Quickly but we still made it to Trunk or Treat with a friend... It was super fun and we got home with 8 pounds of candy....
Ellie spent the night with Grandma and Papa Halloween night so Daddy could put her new bed together... Austin was a big helper and carried pieces of the bed upstairs. It went together fairly well considering that we had only see a picture of what it should look like and there were no instructions...
Ellie came home Sunday Morning and it was so fun to show her the Birthday surprise...

She and Austin played under the tent for an hour or so, then we went to Grandma Dot's for her Family Party.... She got a new bed set, Play dough, art stuff and lots of Polly Pockets... Gotta love those teeny tiny shoes all over the carpet...
Hope everyone had a great Halloween and that you are all just as excited as I am that Christmas is just around the corner.
